Michael is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
He leaves behind his wife, Margaret, and two children, Jenny and Robert. He also leaves his three grandchildren: Kate, Alex and Daisy. 

In 2015, Michael was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Unfortunately this disease is not widely known within the public eye. However, the British Lung Foundation have created a campaign to draw more attention to the disease, and calls for more to be done to help those who suffer with it. 

Michael did not want flowers sent to his funeral. However, we are aware that people will want to contribute or pay their respects in some way. That is why we have set up this tribute page on his behalf.
